Rock River: Clyman Edges Hartford to Win Grand Championship

The Clyman Canners were crowned the 2018 Rock River Grand Champions on Sunday after holding off the Hartford Hawks by an 8-5 score in the decisive third game of the Grand Championship Series (GCS). After dropping game one of the GCS, Clyman forced a game three after erasing a 3-1 8th inning deficit in winning game two 5-3 in 11 innings. The 2018 Rock River Championship is Clyman's fifth overall and first since 2009. The Canners finish the season 30-8 overall (22-3 RRL), while Hartford finishes 24-9 overall (20-4 RRL).
